Italian is more floral and sweet, with very delicate leaves. Thai basil is so delicious, with slightly sturdier leaves, and a more pronounced backbone of warming spices. This makes it perfect for stirfried veggies, but we use it as a garnish and to accent sandwiches and salads as well!
